Pun Hlaing Golf Estate
Located in the North-West of Yangon, the capital city of Myanmar, Pun Hlaing Golf Estate (PHGE) is a residential project built on a 652-acre peninsula between the Hlaing River and the Pun Hlaing River in Hlaing Tharyar Township, approximately 8 miles from downtown Yangon. With two-thirds of its estate perimeter bordered by rivers, PHGE is a "gated community" which not only provides secure residential properties for up to 800 families in single-family landed homes, condominiums and apartments, but also an environment and quality of life second to none in the Myanmar market.
PHGE offers a full range of independent utilities, infrastructure and estate management services unique in comparison to any competing development in the Union of Myanmar. These facilities include 24-hour underground electricity supply to all properties on the estate, and potable water supplies delivered to each property under pressure. Special consideration is taken to protect PHGE's pristine environment by installing sophisticated and ecologically sound bio-filter effluent treatment units into every property.
The standard of infrastructure at PHGE underlying the project and the development controls protecting the density of residential construction, coupled with Myanmar's premier and only Gary Player designed 18-hole championship golf course around which the residential homes are located, have ensured that in the four years of the estate being on the market, the Pun Hlaing name has become a recognised "brand" synonymous with upmarket, international level luxury living in Myanmar.
All single family lots, golf apartments and town houses at Pun Hlaing face onto either the golf course, or have views over Pun Hlaing's many lakes, canals or along the riverside. Each property is sold with family membership rights to the Pun Hlaing Golf Club, enabling property owners, their spouses, their children below the age of 21, and their guests, to enjoy the golf facilities.
